Gainbourg (2010)
A peculiar and compelling film about a peculiar and compelling man. An interesting mix of live action and animation. Slightly too long, but surprisingly consistent.

Benny & Joon (1993)
Proof that Johnny Depp was born in the wrong era. Had he been a film star in the 20s he would be the most highly regarded actor of all time, as proven in this film, his silent comedy acting is superb; and he spends a lot of the film emulating the greats like Keaton, Chaplin and Harold Lloyd. The film is enjoyable enough, but hasn't dated as well as some other films from the era, but it's not half bad.
Runaway bride (1999)
Predictable? yes. But this film is not the worst Julia Roberts vehicle I've seen. Indeed she's very good in this, and gives the film the most compelling attribute it has going for it. Not a film I am eager to watch again, but not one to avoid completely.

Unstoppable (2010)
This is not an intelligent film. It's fun nonsense. It's full of mistakes, the train changes speed throughout the film, sometimes things are put in for dramatic effect without thought for continuity. However it is fun because Tony Scott had great skill with this type of film. In the hands of a lesser director this film would be a complete write off, and whilst it's far from good, it's enjoyable enough to let it slide.
